As soon as in the middle age gold in contrast to gold ore was won from the rivers, the so-called soap gold by means of washing out the river sand. Later on gold interests are mentioned again and again in certificates, which were made as contributions to the lord of the manor and which were only produced from the yields of the gold washing.

In the 13. and 14. century up to 100 gold-digers were working along the gold waters (rural additional income).

Our gold washing place has a gold washing bridge so that you can win the precious metal on both river banks.

We recommend the gold washers to bring a pair of tweezers, tough shoes or rubber boots as well as clothes that correspond to the season. Gold washing bowls, phials and
boots are provided.

The output of washing gold and minerals
belongs to the gold washers.
